Too Much of a Good Thing

I thought I would share this book with you that I read with my mommy book club. I feel that many of us can relate to the title. We all want to raise children with good moral fiber, but how do we do that in the instant gratification world we live in? I want my children to have more than I did growing up but where do you draw the line. Are we teaching are children the life lessons they need to be successful or is our indulgence crippling them? This book helps us through all those tough questions. This book is on my parent reference shelf.

Please share any parenting books you have enjoyed. I will post them on the blog. We all need any help we can get.

Preserving Your Children's Clothing

Sometimes it is hard to give away your child's baby clothes when they grow out of them...their coming home outfit, blessing/commitment outfit or your favorite little outfit...they are just to cute to let go.

Why not turn those special outfits into a special blanket. If you are a sewer then check out Ticche and Bea for a kit to get started on your own blanket. If you are not a sewer check out Willow Creek Studio and let them create a blanket for you.
